On this day, the Mandap (Manda(मन्दः)) is prepared and written in the same way that it is on Mha Puja day. The Mandap also contains a variety of fruits like Apple, Oranges, Guava, Bananas, pears, Pomelo Salad, Citron, dried coconut and Paan (Betel Quid),. Newa: Instead of Pancharangi Tika Globe Amaranth Garland Along with Kokha (Specific Thread Graland with multiple pieces of colorful Clothes ) Akshata, Abir, Dahi, Chiura, and liquor,Red Tika ‘Jaki Singh’. It is usual in the Newar community to offer Sagun same, just as it is on Mha Puja day.
The worship of Panchatatva is followed by the worship of and wishes for the lifespan of one’s brother. In the Newa community, the celebration is known for the closeness of the goddesses and sisters within each human being.
Bhai Tika

After lovingly applying saptarangi tika to each other’s foreheads, the sisters give their brothers fruits, naivedha, and maramsala in accordance with their gaksha, while the brothers kneel down and place dakshina or other presents in accordance with their gaksha at the sister’s feet.
